About the vacancy
As a Registered Manager in Children’s Services, you will oversee the daily operation of the service and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will lead the team, maintain regulatory compliance and help create a safe, supportive environment for children and young people. Key responsibilities * Lead, manage and motivate a dedicated team of care professionals, creating a positive and supportive working environment. * Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, relevant legislation and internal policies. * Work towards achieving and maintaining an Outstanding or Good regulatory rating. * Develop and implement effective care plans, policies and procedures that promote the wellbeing and safety of children and young people. * Manage budgets, resources and administrative responsibilities effectively. * Conduct regular staff supervisions and appraisals. * Support ongoing staff training, learning and professional development. * Build positive relationships with children and young people, their families and external professionals. * Lead continuous-improvement initiatives and maintain high standards across every area of the service. Qualifications and experience * A relevant Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or an equivalent qualification. * Proven management experience within a regulated care setting. * A strong understanding of CQC requirements and relevant legislation. * Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. * A compassionate and empathetic approach that puts the needs, safety and wellbeing of children and young people first.
